TEAM: I believe that our regions’ leadership with respect to collaborative selling, as well as the regional newsletter, has led the effort for the top of the organization to begin highlighting successes across the company’s footprint. The below Inches Digest from Shane Loper, highlights efforts of bankers in our region, e.g. John G, Jeff D, Justin B, and Megan O.  As we also know, at last month’s Chairman’s Club Celebrations, this region had more award winners than any other geography within the company!   

These results do not just happen- they are generated when we proactively MEET with our clients; LISTEN to our clients and IDENTIFY issues they are experiencing; then find a SOLUTION by working with Credit, TM, PB, Retail, HIS, etc.  In my experience as a banker, there are three words which will most likely result in a sale and those words are YES WE CAN.  If we are listening to our client, know our products and services, and are collaborating with our partners, we are able to use these words often and the result is generally a satisfied client and additional sales and revenue for Hancock!

As to a near mid-year report, I provide the following:

* Loan growth has been very strong across all segments: 

* Deposit growth has been good but we are right at budget. 

* Non- Interest Income- we have good momentum but our teams will need to close xxx to hit our year-end targets.

* CRA- our market committees are doing a good job of identifying CRA qualified projects to support.  I encourage all of you to keep up your community volunteer efforts and to document those efforts via the Community Connection portal located on the Source.
